Louise McCarthy (Actor/Writer/Producer) Louise has built an impressive career that spans television, theatre, radio and live comedy particularly as a comedy actor. Working from the West End in Mamma Mia to the National theatre of Scotland. Louise rose to prominence as one-half of the acclaimed comedy duo “The Dolls”, co-creating and touring a series of hit stage shows that played to sold-out audiences of over tens of thousands across Scotland. In television, Louise is known for her roles in BBC Scotland’s ’The Scotts’, “Scot Squad”, “Only an Excuse?”, “Wild Rose” in the feature film and Royal Lyceum stage production and seasonally “Queen of the New Year”. Louise joined the cast of the Steamie as Magrit for the Hydro production in 2019.
